Field of Activity:

Ing. Jiří Sedlák has been involved in the protection of intellectual property since 1987. Since 1991 he has been a member of the Chamber of Patent Attorneys of the Czech Republic. From 1993 to 2010 he worked as an independent patent attorney and a partner in the KUDRLIČKA & SEDLÁK law firm and patent office and in 2011 transformed the legal form of this natural person into the company named PatentCentrum Sedlák & Partners s.r.o. He is the leading partner and executive director in the company. His main activity involves preparation of applications for inventions and utility models, specializing in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and construction. He also deals with licensing agreements, commercialization of research and development results and their valuation.

Ing. Jiří Sedlák is a lecturer in the field of intellectual property rights, certified expert in the field of “economics – valuation of intangible assets” and “patents and inventions” as well as a member of international organizations for protection of intellectual property:
KPZ – Chamber of Patent Attorneys of the Czech Republic;

FICPI – Fédération internationale des conseils an propriété industrielle;
Since 2013 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of KPZ.

She provides communication with clients and representatives in the Czech Republic and abroad, she is a specialist in electronic filing of applications at patent offices in the Czech Republic and abroad and in electronic communication with these offices; she validates European patents in the Czech Republic and provides professional translations.
